The interior is lined with fawn textile and the cabin floor is carpeted in chocolate.
Upholstery is in royal blue and the curtains are white with a blue floral pattern.
The very front of the cabin comprises V shape seating which converts into either 2 children`s singles or a double.
Lined storage lockers feature underneath.
Between the front seating area and the well is the galley (Kitchen) with a bench seat opposite.
The modern galley was fitted in 2017 and comprises white units with silver knob handles and black melamine worktops.
There is a cupboard storage under the stainless sink and 2 burner hob, which has a pull down lid to create further workspace.
To the side is a combination grill/oven with workspace above.
A Matching black splash back features in the galley. Opposite is a long bench that pulls out to convert into a double bed. To the side of this is an additional storage unit on the side of which is a car stereo which is not currently wired in.
A 240v/12v fridge is available under separate negotiation.
Before going from the galley to the well, there is a small toilet cubicle (head) on the port side. This is newly lined out ready for the new owner to add a chemical toilet.
Within the cabin, lighting is provided via 12v fluorescents.
The good sized well can easily accommodate 4 crew. At present the captain has to stand and so may find fitting a steerer`s chair beneficial.
The consul comprises a ship’s style steering wheel and recently refurbished instrument panel that includes the electric start for the engine. It also houses the main fluorescent lighting source.
Across the back is a large bench seat which could convert into a single berth. Below is the access to the engine and fuel storage.
The floor has recently been repaired and so is solid under foot.
The canopy is in good condition.
The gunwale provides all round access and the roof features supporting handrail. Some front deck protection is given by the presence of the pulpit rail.
There is a selection of fenders plus some cruising equipment but more needs to be added before the new owners venture too far. The harbour office has an inventory of what is included.
Echo is in very nice condition for her age and is an excellent buy for someone wanting to try out boating for a reasonable cost.
As she is an older boat, as can be expected she is not perfect. In this case a small leak sometimes occurs in the cabin area after very heavy rainfall. The owner has persistently tried to find the source but to no avail. He has sought a solution by fitting a bilge pump to take away the water that gets in and finds that whilst this is annoying it is not affecting the integrity of the interior.
